LONG SHOT (2019)

Sometimes you read a movie’s description and you think you aren’t going to enjoy a film – but you give it a shot regardless and you wind up absolutely surprising yourself.

Other times, like in the case of the romantic comedy Long Shot’ (2019) you see the attached talent with a killer synopsis and every other film just melts away.

In ‘Long Shot’ (2019), Seth Rogen hilariously portrays Fred Flarsky, a free-spirited journalist with an affinity for getting into trouble, who reunites with his childhood crush (and babysitter) Charlotte Field, played by Charlize Theron, who is now one of the most influential women in the world as US Secretary of State.

The pair are brought together when Charlotte decides to make a run at the presidency and hires Fred to make her more relatable to the public.

With supporting characters played by June Diane Raphael, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ravi Patel, Randall Park and Alexander Skarsgård as the Canadian Prime Minister, be ready for an all out belly-laughing good time.
